Having achieved his dream, the young doctor made the time to pursue other interests. He was a keen sports man and won many athletic medals at his various meets. It was at one such meet that he met Miss Faith Ifesonachi Okoli, whom he married in March 1966. They have 3 children together, Chinedu (son), Ebele (daughter), & Ndubisi (son), and 13 grandchildren.
