"It is said that people come into your life for a Reason, some for a Season, and others for a Life Time... I know that since you came into my life I have learnt and grown; your benevolence has been a source of inspiration and motivation to me. I have emotional and spiritual fulfillment since you embraced me as one of your own and only regret the brevity of our fellowship. We did not have a long time together but I feel that we developed a friendship that will bear upon the rest of my life. My joy is full, and my life better, because of it. I feel really privileged to have had the opportunity to share and be a part of your life, to celebrate and honour you. I am grateful for the time I have known and spent with you, sir. I will miss our deliberations, your advice and support, but I will especially miss the fond way you called me “Ore mi Atata”... You are my father and my friend, and it is this aspect of our relationship that I most treasure and will cherish for as long as I live. Yours was a life that undoubtedly pleased God, Sir, and one worthy of emulation. It ... my sincere hope ... that, by the grace of God, I will live up to your expectations and be worthy of the friendship you extended to me. The Lord rest your gentle soul, Sir. May He grant us all the strength to bear your departure, and to uphold the values by which you lived. I will forever be yours sincerely, Akinola Olateru (Ore yin Atata)"
